IMPORTANT FRAUD ALERT – PLEASE BE AWARE
We are aware of a scam currently targeting members where fraudsters are pretending to be from the Credit Union.
Members may receive a text message claiming that their PIN needs to be changed or reset. The message may include a security code and ask you to reply if you did not request the change.
This may then be followed by a phone call from someone claiming to be from the Credit Union’s “Fraud Department”.
We have been made aware of calls associated with the following Dublin number:
01 259 6049
Please be aware that these calls and messages are not from the Credit Union.
If you receive a message or call like this:
- Do not click on any links.
- Do not reply to the text message.
- Do not share any security codes, PINs, passwords or personal information.
- Do not follow instructions given by the caller.
- If you receive a call, end the call and contact the Credit Union directly using our official contact details.
The Credit Union will never ask you to provide your PIN, password or security codes over the phone.
If you have received a suspicious message or phone call, please contact us as soon as possible.
Please remain vigilant and share this warning with family members, friends or anyone who may be vulnerable to these types of scams.
We apologise for any concern this may cause and thank all members for remaining vigilant.
